Lisa Grimsley, Instructor
Lisa Grimsley joined the ELI faculty after completing an eight week teaching practicum in Indonesia and earning her Master’s degree in TESL from Columbia International University in 1992. Other past overseas experience includes two additional trips to teach conversational English in Seoul, Korea. While at the ELI, Ms. Grimsley has developed curriculum for the American Culture class and a new class, The Community Outreach Class which focuses on the volunteer spirit in America. At the heart of both classes is the desire for students to have more interaction with Americans so that they can have a better understanding of Americans and what they believe. Other interests include music and singing which is regularly incorporated in her classes at the ELI.
