The ELI offers a variety of high-quality intensive English programs for degree-seeking students, business and legal professionals, English language teachers, and general English language learners.

Program Description
Intensive English Program (IEP) The ELI’s core program. Through its various tracks of study, IEP helps students to improve their English for general and professional purposes. Includes General English, English for Academic Purposes, Business English, and English through American Culture.
Conditional Admissions Program (CAP) The CAP program helps students to be accepted to a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program at the University of Delaware (or one of our partner universities). CAP students are never required to take a TOEFL or IELTS exam!
Accelerated University English Program (AUEP) Super-intensive Academic English preparation for students who wish to attend an American university program.
Pre-MBA Preparation for success in an American MBA program–including case study analysis, GMAT/GRE Preparation, and more!
Executive English Program (EEP) Short-term intensive English program for professionals.
American Law and Legal English Institute (ALLEI) Participants learn about the American Legal system while improving their Legal English communication skills in this short-term program.
English for Medical Professionals Special program for health care professionals to improve their Medical English communication skills and learn more about the American Health Care Industry.
Corporate Tutoring Intensive and semi-intensive Business English instruction for short-term visiting international business professionals in Delaware.
Evening Program Semi-intensive English program for members of our local community.
EFL Teacher Training (DEFT) Pedagogical training for groups of EFL teachers in other countries. A wonderful professional development opportunity!
