New video: See the animated video that Dr. Stevens showed at graduation on May 3rd!

This short video is an allegory (a story that uses characters, events, etc. as symbols to teach an important lesson) that tells the tale of two international students, Learner and Check-Off. Both students have a different approach to their experience studying in the USA.

Learner focuses on his experience, focusing not only on meeting requirements to obtain his university degree, but also on learning about US culture, making many friends from around the world, learning about volunteerism through Service Learning, etc.

By contrast, Check-Off focuses on meeting the requirements needed to graduate as quickly as possible. If an activity is not on his checklist, he does not participate.
