The ELI is accredited by an organization called the Commission for English Language Program Accreditation (CEA).
In order to be accredited, the ELI must prove that it upholds a number of standards and best practices for all aspects of its programs (i.e., curriculum, testing, advising, admissions, recruitment, finances, etc.). An independent team periodically reviews the ELI’s operations to ensure that we are maintaining those standards. This process helps the ELI to strive for excellence in programming and services for its students, faculty, and staff.
