Gifts from Honors alumni and friends are vital to ensuring UD Honors students have access to enriching, meaningful experiences and activities. Generous donors fund Honors Enrichment Awards, Course Enrichment Activities, Honors at the Arts, and the Honors Alternative Spring Break program.

Honors College Dean's Fund
Established in March 2019 to support the enrichment of the academic and professional pursuits of matriculated students in the Honors College. The funds are used for student enrichment, including but not limited to: undergraduate research activities, senior thesis, participation in academic conferences, course enrichment, and guest speakers. The funds are not used for scholarship, financial aid, staff or faculty salaries or operating expenses.
Donald Harward and Burnaby Munson Fund for Honors Undergraduate Research
Established in May 2017 to provide stipends to Honors students pursuing an Honors Degree with Distinction to remain on campus and focus on senior thesis research during winter session of the senior year. The stipends are awarded through a competitive application process administered by the dean of the Honors College and Honors senior staff.
Donald Harward and Burnaby Munson Honors College Faculty Engagement Fund
Established in May 2017 to support various faculty and student engagement initiatives outside of the classroom setting, such as Dr. Munson’s Study Break series and faculty/staff-hosted dinners with Honors College students.
Donations to this fund are used at the discretion of the Honors College leadership to support critical annual programs and initiatives.
Honors College Student Enrichment Fund
This fund provides financial support for a broad range of academic and career enrichment activities that will complement and enhance the UD educational experience of our students.
