UD CAREER MENTORING PROGRAM
The UD Career Mentoring Program enhances the student experience by linking juniors and seniors with a career mentor. Students are paired with someone invested in their success; a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges and recognize opportunities. Students will develop a relationship with someone who has been in their shoes – they will learn about different approaches to working through challenges and gain professional insights, while mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders.

What do mentors and mentees discuss?
-
How can I set myself up for career success?
-
How will my academic program, and my involvement in co-curricular activities, impact my professional options?
-
How do I balance the demands of courses, personal responsibilities, and socializing?
-
How do I determine if post-graduate education (graduate school, medical school, law school, etc.) is right for me, and how do I apply and secure admission and possible funding?
- How do I make connections with people who can help me achieve my career goals?
