New Era Colorado is a local nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works to engage young people in the political process through civic engagement, advocacy, and leadership development. It is an innovative vehicle for hands-on democracy working to empower our generation.

This summer, New Era Colorado is offering a full-time summer fellowship program in Denver to train the next generation of young leaders to create change in their communities. The Democracy Fellows will learn to lead, organize, and advocate for the issues they are passionate about, and can receive need-based stipends for their participation. They’ll learn from the best in their fields in Colorado about how to write field plans, craft a media strategy, build relationships with volunteers, and more.
