The Hospitality Industry Management major is designed for students with a strong career interest in analytical and support functions in the hospitality industry and beyond. One very key area is Hospitality Real Estate Finance & Transaction Advisory Services. This means – a collaborative and intelligent approach to maximize real estate investments — constantly evaluating the market, new trends and technologies.
The Economics Department has established online tutoring for students taking ECON101, ECON103, ECON300, ECON301, and ECON306. Any student can sign up for small-group tutoring by completing this form: https://forms.gle/TPqoHz83LBKiJNMN8. Students requesting tutoring must log in using a UDEL email address, and they can only submit the form once.
There is also tutoring for Economics and other courses available through the Office of Academic Enrichment, including drop-in, group, and individual.

The Vita Nova Restaurant and Courtyard by Marriott offer students hands-on experience where you can round out your academic knowledge. Vita Nova is a fine-dining student-managed restaurant. The 126-room Courtyard by Marriott offers students valuable experience in sales, marketing, revenue management, front office and housekeeping.
The Hospitality Industry Management major is designed for students with a strong career interest in analytical and support functions such as consulting, commercial real estate transaction services, sales and marketing, revenue management, e-business and hospitality information technology in the global hospitality industry.
