Build Amazing Maps: Review of recent updates to ArcGIS Online for imagery, spatial analysis, and more

This session will provide learners with a hands-on opportunity to learn about many of the new advances in ArcGIS Online. Did you know that you can build a real-time layer that summarizes air-quality measures and ethnicity? Did you know that you can build dynamic charts? Did you know that you can classify land use with hosted deep learning tools? These questions along with many others will be answered. Attendees will also be provided with a wide range of resources, lessons, and materials to ensure that they can dive even deeper after the session. Brian Baldwin – Lead Solution Engineer for Esri’s Higher Education Team

Brian currently works as a Lead Solution Engineer for Esri supporting Higher Education and has been working in the geographic information system (GIS) and geospatial industry for more than 15 years. GIS work experience brought Brian from the frozen tundra of Duluth MN as a data digitizer, to the Big Island of Hawaii as a GIS Analyst, and the streets of Milwaukee as a Crime Analyst. Brian teaches GIS in the School of Interactive Games and Media at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Brian has also taught GIS at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Salem State University. Brian is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, father of 2, and husband to 1.
