Community Cluster Program
IT builds and manages research computing platforms to leverage high-performance filesystems, high-speed networks, and a wide variety of research software packages. It is a technical and financial collaboration between UD’s Information Technologies and UD’s faculty and researchers (stakeholders) who require a high-performance computing facility. See the Commmunity Cluster pages for more details.
National Cyber Resources
Researchers whose cyberinfrastructure needs exceed what is available at UD should investigate other resources such as Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) with assistance available through UD’s XSEDE campus champion.
HPC Symposium Series
The HPC Symposium is a series of presentations that consist of a one-hour invited talk by a University research group about what they are accomplishing on the community clusters and conclude with a one hour open forum for researchers and IT staff: questions, answers, brainstorming, sharing. Please contact us if you are interested in presenting at one of the open HPC Symposium scheduled dates.
High-Performance Computing Training
There are several resources listed at HPC Training that can help you with your HPC-related research. Additionally, HPC-ask is Google group established to stimulate interactions within UD’s broader HPC community and is based on members helping members. Anyone can request membership.
Please contact us if you need help. If we can’t directly answer your question, Research Computing staff will get you connected with someone who can!
