COE’s Marianthi Ierapetritou leads $3 million National Science Foundation effort

Marianthi Ierapetritou, Hui Fang and Dionisios Vlachos, of University of Delaware’s Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, will be partnering in research to help in the development of renewable technologies. They will be working along with several other department and faculty members from across the University of Delaware. Their work will be aiming to create a blueprint for a more renewable manufacturing future with a $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
Marianthi Ierapetritou, Hui Fang and Dionisios Vlachos have all been long term users of University of Delaware’s HPC resources. It will be exciting to see how they will leverage the computational power of Caviness, DARWIN, and Farber to assist them with running their complex computer simulations.
