Blue Hen Bounty

Blue Hen Bounty is a student-run food pantry that provides food and hygiene products for students in need. If you are a little short on cash one week or could use some assistance more regularly, they are there to help. Health and wellness are vital to academic success, so don’t let the stress of daily life pile onto the stress of studying for a test.

They are located at 276 S College Ave and are open on Wednesdays from 4-5 PM, Thursdays from 3-5 PM, and by appointment. You can email them at bluehenbounty@gmail.com for more information, to schedule a time for pick up, or if you wish to donate. Remember to bring your UD Student ID with you.

Campus Resources: Student Health and Wellness

Many students try to cram school, work, activities, and socializing into too few hours, giving up sleep to manage the time deficit. Without proper rest and nutrition, you are susceptible to many different health problems, and existing medical conditions may be exacerbated. Psychologist and sleep expert, Dr. Brad Wolgast, Director of UD’s Center for Student Counseling & Student Development, reports that one of the most prevalent problems among young adults is poor sleep hygiene. “Sleep hygiene” refers to a series of healthy habits that can improve your ability to fall asleep, stay asleep, and get the rest you need.
