Tiffany is a senior Psychology major with Africana Studies and Neuroscience minors. She works at the Carpenter Sports Building and enjoys watching shows like Criminal Minds and Law and Order. Here is some advice from her…
Hi! My name is Elizabeth Connant and I’m starting my Sophomore year and currently Undecided. I am leaning towards a major in International Relations and minor in Sports Management. I am so glad I started college undeclared because it gave me the opportunity to look at different major paths without any pressure of being stuck in a certain schedule. I enjoy being apart of different clubs and activities on campus as well as an iced coffee and a book.
What does undecided mean to me?
To me undecided means I got freedom to explore my options while also having a structure and team of supportive peers to help me with my journey! Without coming in undecided I probably would have pushed myself into the major that I thought was the most responsible choice without getting to explore and pick the major that I am passionate and excited to be apart of! (K-8 Teacher Education!)
I decided to be undecided because I wasn’t sure what major I fit into! At first, this was intimidating because it seemed like other kids had it all figured out, but by doing this I was able to explore all of my options and get the help I needed to guide me towards the right educational and career-oriented path.
