If you’d like to learn more about the “law and its influence on society from a variety of perspectives” , the Legal Studies minor may be of interest to you. The minor consists of a minimum of 19 credits including core Legal Studies classes and seminars. The minor is also interdisciplinary and students are allowed to choose elective courses in addition to core classes from a variety of departments; including history, business, education, political science, and communication. The Department of Political Science and International Relations (who houses the minor) also provide pre-law advisement, lectures, conferences and other events for those students who are interested in further education and professional training in the field.
