GREEN HEN AWARDS

Applications are currently being accepted until April 30, 2024 and will be announced in late Spring 2024.

The University of Delaware’s Office of Sustainability is dedicated to meeting the UD strategic plan to practice and enhance the principles of sustainability across operations, academics, student life, research and community engagement.  Further the Office seeks to celebrate the many dedicated members of our community who are actively contributing to make our campus greener and to better position the University as a leader in sustainability.

The Office of Sustainability is seeking nominations for its 4th annual Green Hen Awards – which come with both formal recognition and a financial award — to be given to an outstanding student, faculty, and staff member for contributions to the University’s campus and community sustainability efforts.
