Breathing Techniques From Our GEM Curriculum
Whale Breath 🐋
For this exercise, you can sit up tall positioned crisscross applesauce somewhere on
the floor close to you. If you would like, you can also put your hands on top of your head
to create the blow hole to “blow” out. (This will help expand your chest and lungs)
INHALE taking a deep breath for a count of 5.
HOLD for a count of 5
Tilt your head back to “blow out” through the blow hole and EXHALE for a count of 5
Repeat 5x!
