Working in a physical therapy clinic this winter, I saw lots of patients get tested using dynamometry. Most commonly, patients after ACL repair surgeries were tested to gauge their recovery in comparison to their healthy leg. Because I was not trained on them I could not perform the tests, but it is interesting to now know why they actually used the Biodex.
