Sunsetting iClicker Classic and upgrading to iClicker Cloud
Starting January 2024, iClicker Classic software will no longer be supported. To continue using iClicker with roster synchronization, you must upgrade to iClicker Cloud. Physical bases and remotes in the classroom will still be used. To use iClicker without roster synchronization, a non-Canvas integrated version will be available.
Read this post about the upgrade and attend a vendor-led training session on January 24 during Keep Calm and Teach On (KCTO) Winter 2024.
What’s New:
Gradescope pilot update
More than 300 courses have been created so far during the Gradescope pilot. You can help make this pilot a success by creating a Gradescope-integrated course, evaluating the tool, and providing feedback. And be sure to attend a vendor-led training session on January 11 (check the Canvas calendar for details), or during KCTO Winter 2024.
Canvas Collaborations is getting an update
Canvas Collaborations now integrates with Google Assignments LTI 1.3, providing more security and flexibility for creating and sharing Google files using Canvas. The legacy Canvas Collaborations integration with Google Drive will be removed on December 29, 2023. Starting in winter 2024, all collaborations should use the Google LTI 1.3 integration. See what’s new in the updated Collaborations interface.
