4-week workshop for instructors and teaching assistants
Winter 2024: 1/8 – 2/2
Innovative Teaching Strategies (ITS) will provide you the opportunity to explore UD supported technologies and methods for teaching, specifically, instructor presence, student engagement, assessments, and multimedia. During this 4 week course, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with ATS instructional designers and your community of participants.

Course format
This course is a hybrid format with asynchronous content available in Canvas and optional synchronous coffee hour sessions each Thursday at 1:30 PM. During the synchronous Zoom sessions, ATS instructional designers and class participants engage in a learning community-based virtual hour. In addition, optional learning labs based on participant feedback will be offered.
Educational technology tools
Poll Everywhere, FeedbackFruits, Perusall, UD Capture, advanced Canvas and Zoom features and more. Some of these tools will be modeled and briefly introduced with individual consultations available by request.
Participation
Participants are expected to complete the asynchronous content and may engage in a learning community-based virtual offerings to discuss and explore UD supported technologies and methods for teaching through the learning management system, Canvas.
