Parliamentary Procedure
“The body of rules, ethics and customs that governs meetings of
clubs, organizations, legislative bodies and deliberative assemblies.”
RSA uses parliamentary procedure when passing amendments because it provides order for the conversation that will
unfold about that amendment. This allows more topics to be talked about in a smoother manner. Parliamentary procedure
also allows for everyone’s voice to be heard that may not be usually heard.
