Who we Are:
The Resident Student Association (RSA) is a student government organization, dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, engaging, diverse, and valuable campus experience for all students.
Every year, we represent over 7,500 students living in UD affiliated residence halls and apartments. In partnership with the Department of Residence Life & Housing, we support the Community Advocacy Board (CAB) system, where students from across campus can represent their residence hall and lead programming and advocacy initiatives in their communities.
Our leadership consists of a 9 member E-Board, focused on making the residence halls a home for all students at UD. Learn more about our E-Board here!
What We Do
Programming
The RSA strives to provide plentiful, meaningful, and fun programs to the residents at the University of Delaware.
We oversee the Community Advocacy Boards, and an Executive Board member serves as a mentor to one or more board.
The RSA also offers monetary support through our Programming Finance Grant which students can fill out for funding of various events.
We also work with other Registered Student Organizations. We set aside money every year for Co-Sponsorships of events that have similar values to our organization!

Advocacy
The RSA is the advocating voice for students in Residence Halls. We aim to provide a meaningful experience to all residents and make sure that their voices are heard and action is taken.
Our Director of Advocacy oversees the Advocacy Committee, which focuses on specific issues seen throughout our Resident Halls. In the past, the committee has run a large dining survey which resulted in significant changes to the dining hall experience, as well as hosted guest speakers during meetings.
We provide monetary support to ANY resident trying to advocate for their community through Student Advocacy Grants. Through this, we hope to better enable students to create change themselves in their own communities.
