Stars and Stripes Livestock Show
The Stars and Stripes Livestock Show will be held on Sunday, June 26th in Moorestown, New Jersey. Classes are available for exhibitors 21 and under in sheep, dairy goats, poultry and waterfowl, and small animals ranging from rabbits and cavys to lizards and snakes! State 4-H Horse Judging Contest at the Delaware State Fair
The State 4-H Horse Judging Contest at the Delaware State Fair will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2016 beginning at 9:00 am in the Quillen Arena. Youth participants will be expected to judge 3 halter classes and two performance classes. One of the performance classes will be reining this year. The pattern will be provided in mid-June and participants will be permitted to use the pattern in the contest. The reining class will count towards the participants overall contest score but will not be a reasons class.

51st State 4-H Horse Show
The 51st Annual State 4-H Horse Show will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 in the Quillen Arena during the Delaware State Fair. All participants must have been enrolled as a 4-H member by March 1. Horses do not need to be stabled on the fairgrounds and may ship in just for the day. Horses and ponies need to have proof of a current negative Coggins test as well as proof of vaccination for Equine Influenza and Rhino (EHV) within the last 180 days. All exhibitors are required to wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet whenever mounted or driving. A complete class list is available on the State 4-H Animal Science website. Delaware Farm Bureau Rate of Gain Contest Forms Due August 19th
All 4-H and FFA Rate of Gain Contest forms are due to the Kent County Extension office postmarked by August 19, 2016. Complete rules and entry forms are available on the State 4-H Animal Science webpage.

Delaware Livestock Exposition- date change for 2016!!
The 2016 Delaware Livestock Exposition will be held October 15-16 at the Delaware State Fairgrounds. This is a youth breeding show open to exhibitors ages 21 and younger.
