Stewards of Children – Training opportunity for 4-H Leaders and Volunteers
Stewards of Children Training
4-H Leaders and Volunteers:
You are invited to attend the Stewards for Children training on Monday, November 23. This training will be held in conjunction with the November Leader’s Association meeting. In order to accommodate this training, we will be switching our schedule slightly. The leader’s meeting will be held at the Extension Office from 6:00-6:30pm. Following the brief meeting, our 4-H Volunteer Specialist, Dr. Ernie Lopez, will be conducting the Stewards of Children Training. Dinner will be provided for all training participants.
Stewards of Children is a sexual abuse training that is required by all UD Extension Staff and is strongly encouraged to all of our 4-H volunteers, leaders and parents. Although this training is not required, it is highly recommended.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Lisa Bishop by Friday, November 20. You can reach e-mail Lisa or call (302) 831-8965.
For more information, please review the Stewards of Children Training letter from Dr. Lopez.
