We started up our new year with a review of the highlights of how new members can get involved. Many 4-H Members updated on what they showed or presented at the fair (and other 4-H projects) and ribbons that they won. We have pictures of some of the participants and what they displayed. Emma Apps did her public speaking speech and showed her photography photos. Andrew Shaffer did a ‘’ How To “’ for showing swine. Kiersten O’Hop flew over the poultry show requirements to show fowl for the fair. Leah and Sarah Apps set up their Favorite Foods place setting displays and explained how the contest works.

Clover Quest 4-H Club
Our November meeting was awesome! Maya and Mason Merritt led us in the pledges. Then Blacky Wasgat, our club leader, talked about the upcoming favorite food contest and the photo contest. She also spoke about our Community Service project. Clover Quest unpacked boxes of chap stick at the Stockings for Soldier’s location. The chap stick will be put into stockings with other items that will be sent to soldiers in Iraq. Then we split up into two groups to play our games. After the games, we had Monkey Bread prepared by the Merritt family. Mrs. Karen Johnston gave a presentation on healthy living and then Matt Johnston dismissed the meeting.
