Committee Members

Student Government Association committee members are full members of SGA, part of one of the three branches: University Affairs, Judicial Affairs or External Affairs.

Committee members can co-sponsor legislation to improve student life and other aspects of campus, be a voice for the student body and have the opportunity to engage with various University administrators.

They are afforded the same opportunities as a Senator, other than voting rights at our Senate meetings. If by any chance a Senator has to step down from a position, their seats are filled by someone within their branch’s committee.
