Kohtem joined GSG in 2025 and currently serves as a Senator for the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. With a diverse technical background and global perspective, his research focuses on advancing communication systems aimed at bridging the digital divide. His work integrates satellite communications, wireless technologies, and RF engineering to create more accessible and resilient global connectivity. Outside the lab, Kohtem enjoys reading, debating and playing soccer.
