Bernice joined GSG in Fall 2024 as the GSG Secretary. She is continuing her role as GSG Secretary for the 2025-2026 school year. Bernice’s research interests include prison reform and policy changes. She is focused on rehabilitation programs in prisons that aid individuals in learning/developing the necessary skills to be able to re-enter into society. She is also focused on mental health, substance misuse, and unhoused individuals. Outside of school, Bernice loves playing the piano, reading, art, hiking, and hanging out with her loved ones and most importantly her dog (Mr. Latte).
