Hr update
New payroll system will show vacation and sick day balances in hours verses current payroll system which now lists our vacation and sick balances in days.

We accrue 22 days per year for vacation
We max out at 120 days for sick time

Wendy Clark to attend training for new payroll system next week.   More updates about the new payroll system will be shared.  Leave request balances in new system will show in new payroll systems for employees to review any time.

Wendy needs vacation and sick balances immediately from FT staff.  She will need to report vacation and sick hours to HR department soon.  Requested that all hours be reviewed for accuracy and report any discrepancies to Wendy.  Be sure that all vacation and sick days are submitted via web form.

Improving HR communications in ELI among admin staff, Wendy will send out email reminder each week.  When admin staff is planning to be out of office for vacation, sick or meetings, please email  Wendy clark with dates you will be out,  date you plan to return, dates and times you will be out of the office.  It is important to state the day you will return. The front desk staff needs to know when out. All admin staff should follow this new process.

Open enrollment runs through May 29, 2013.  Please review health care, vision, dental coverage.  Please make adds and changes by May 29th. After deadline, no changes can be made unless life change.

Flex benefits renewal is in November 2013
Parking benefits renewal is in June/July 2013

Employee appreciation picnic will be held on Monday, June 3rd, 11:00 am through 1:00 pm
