Faculty Meeting Session II13

Next Session Enrollment – Enrollment for next session will be larger. We are expecting the Brazilian teacher group which Mike Fields advises. We are also expecting a Laureate group which will be about 40-45 students from Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and possibly Italy.
A few instructors who had left will be returning to the ELI next session.
Time relevant announcements –
- Fill out the instructor intention form – Scott and Joe refer to these when assigning instructors to classes
- Turn in scholarship forms, due today.
- Enter mid-session grades. Due today.
- Festival of Nations – still need help with Fashion Show.
- RSVP to Chris about holiday party.

Note that if you know you want Q software added to your computer, it is best to ask Sunday night or Monday of Opening Day before classes start. If there are any software suggestions for purchase, please contact Scott. Division of labor for computer problems—contact your tech buddy first, then OET if they cannot resolve the issue.

Newsletter Committee report given by Sarah Petersen.
The newsletter will be magazine style this year instead of the old newspaper style. The layout is being done in-house by Scott Duarte. The issue is ready, except for the photos from the Festival of Nations which will be taken tonight. The Committee expects this year’s issue will be available the week of December 2nd and will be delivered to Reading/Writing classes for distribution.
