What’s New:

  • FeedbackFruits will be removed at the end of Spring 2026 semester.  The FeedbackFruits toolset will be removed on June 30, 2026, for all Canvas@UD users.  If you are currently using a FeedbackFruits tool, please use the Spring 2026 semester to consider alternatives for peer review.
  • Canvas is updating its native Portfolio tool.  The current account-level ePortfolio tool will be retired on June 30, 2026, and an all-new portfolio feature is coming soon.  If you used the existing tool with students, please share these steps to export existing portfolios.
  • The Enhanced Rubrics feature preview has had several updates since its launch.  If you use rubrics extensively in your courses, consider transitioning to this new interface to make your rubric management easier.

Did you know:

  • Anthology Ally’s Fix Your Content Day is November 18, 2025Join your colleagues for a 24-hour global accessibility challenge to make digital content more inclusive.  Every fix counts!
  • New Quizzes have more granular options for student feedback than Classic Quizzes.  If you have transitioned and have not reviewed your settings, learn more about how to manage students’ view of quiz results
  • Reminder! CidiLabs Design Plus legacy sidebar support will sunset in December.  The legacy sidebar will be removed from Canvas@UD on December 31, 2025.  Content created with the legacy sidebar will continue to display properly, but any edits after December will require migration to the new sidebar.  Visit the updated DesignPLUS for Canvas web page for upgrade tips and resources.
  • Winter 2026 Canvas course sites were created on November 11. Review Canvas Course Information for a New Term for information about how to check for your courses, make change requests, and prepare to teach this winter. Expect your Spring 2026 course sites to be available in early December.
