Saturday, Feb. 15:

Ozobots*

Cole Simpson, Computer Science Pathways Ambassador, will lead an exciting workshop using Ozobots. These coding robots teach programming and infinite ways to create and share.

This workshop will take place at the NCC 4-H Office, 461 Wyoming Rd., Newark 19716 from 10 am- 12 noon. Ages 10-12. Cost: FREE

Wool Basics*

Including New Zealand lap spinning and felting. This workshop will be held at the Delaware City Library, 250 5th St., Delaware City 19706 from 1- 3 pm. Cost: FREE


Saturday, Feb. 22:

Photography- 10 Steps that Help*

When you exhibit your photos at the Delaware State Fair, do you ever wonder what the judges were thinking when you read the comment tag attached to your photo?  This workshop is intended to help you get the right picture and a blue ribbon for the exhibit class. (whether you are using a camera or a phone). This workshop will be held at the NCC 4-H Office from 10-11 am. Cost: FREE

Cupcake Decorating with the Pros from Bing’s Bakery*

Learn the history of this bakery along with cupcake decorating techniques. Held at the new Bake & Brew location, 57 S. Main St., Newark 19711. 11-11:45  am.

Two sessions (both at 11 am):

Ages 5-8

Ages 9-19

Cost: $10 (includes two cupcakes, icing, decorations and a drink)**


Saturday, Feb. 29

Flower Arranging*

Learn the art of basic flower arranging and make an arrangement to take home. This workshop will be held at Appoquinimink High School in the agriculture classrooms, 1080 Bunker Hill Rd., Middletown 19709 from 10 -11 am. Cost: $10**

* A minimum of 5 participants is needed for each workshop to run. If less than 5 people sign up, the workshop will be cancelled, so bring a friend!
