We are beginning to accept applications for the Spring semester TA program. This is for the courses of ANFS240: Functional Anatomy and ANFS310: Animal and Plant Genetics. We are only accepting students into the TA program for credit this semester so you must have no more than 17 credits in your schedule to be eligible.

I ask that you remain patient during this time, as we do not know exactly what the lab set-ups will look like in the Spring. We WILL be back in the new and much improved Worrilow Hall! Rules and regulations regarding class size and spacing may very well change as we move forward, but I will keep everyone as up-to-date as possible as we progress!

With that said, if you are interested, please fill out the document below and return it via email to Mrs. Hougentogler (nemeclm@udel.edu) no later than 11/30. We will not make decisions before this date.

Animal and Food Science Undergraduate TA Program_2020

It's now time to open up the applications for becoming a teaching assistant for ANFS 111. This course is a hands-on laboratory that runs once a week on Wednesdays from 1:25-3:25. We ask that you ensure your schedule is open and that you are available from 1pm - 3:45pm before applying for this position, as there is set-up and clean-up times that we need to take into account.

The application form will close Friday, May 16th, and we will reach out to all applicants shortly thereafter.

As you begin to make your schedule for Spring, now is the time to think about if you interested in becoming an undergraduate teaching assistant! Both ANFS 240: Functional Anatomy of Domestic Animals, and ANFS 310: Animal and Plant Genetics use undergraduate TA's to assist during laboratory hours as well as outside open/project hours.

Please note ANFS 240 labs run Monday: 10:10 AM-1:10 PM and 1:25 PM-4:25 PM and Tuesday 12:30 PM-3:15 PM and 3:30 PM-6:30 PM. ANFS 310 labs run Wednesday 10:10 AM-1:10 PM and 2:30 PM-5:30 PM and Thursday 11:00 AM-1:45 PM and 3:30 PM- 6:30 PM.

Animal and Food Science Undergraduate TA Application

This post is in regards to those interested in becoming a teaching assistant for the ANFS 111 - Introduction to Animal and Food Science Laboratory.

The lab takes place every Wednesday in the Fall semester and TA's are required to have the hours from 1-4pm available.

Please return the application form via hard copy to Mrs. Hougentogler's office (042 to Townsend Hall) where you may slide it under the door if she is not here, OR electronically to Nemeclm@udel.edu.

The application deadline is Friday, May 4th - NO EXCEPTIONS

Final decisions will be made by Reading Day, May 16th.

The ANFS111: Animal and Food Science Laboratory has 2 spots open for undergraduate teaching assistants. The laboratory is every Wednesday from 1:25-3:25pm. Ideally TA's would be available from 1-4pm, but we can make exceptions for classes ending at 1:10pm. We start the first week of classes with an introductory lab.
