Chemistry 622 – Electroanalytical Chemistry

To be taught in Fall, 2017

What’s covered in Chem 622?

Chemistry 622 is a graduate-level, overview course in electrochemistry as applied to chemical analysis. Topics introduced in Chem 622 include basic theory of potentiometric and dynamic voltammetric measurement, the structure of the electrical double-layer and the theoretical description of kinetics of chemical and electrochemical processes occurring at the electrode surface.

Methods of measurement that take advantage of these processes are discussed in some detail.

Brief Course Description:

An elective, three-credit, introductory graduate course in electroanalytical chemistry.

The course format is three 1-hour lectures per week.

Full content of material offered in this course is available through Sakai.

To gain access to the course materials on Sakai, you must be registered in Chem 622. Point your browser to www.udel.edu/sakai and log in with your student ID and password there. If you have registered, Chem 622 should already be in your list of Sakai courses.
