The University of Delaware Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB), a registered student organization at the University Student Centers, and the University Student Centers will present the annual Senior Fling event from 4-7 p.m., Friday, May 13th, on the North Green.
This year’s Senior Fling consists of a log slammer, inflatable Twister, bouncy boxing, a soccer carnival game, leather bracelet making, a caricaturist, flash tattoos, a photo booth, a racing simulator, food, and a concert featuring music group MisterWives with opener Lauv. The event is free and open to all UD students.
This event is held to celebrate graduating seniors, and they are encouraged to register for a chance to win a variety of prizes. The prizes being given out include the following: $500 gift cards to Amazon, Target, Ticketmaster, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Apple; Beats by Dr. Dre Solo2 headphones; Beats Pill speaker; Fujifilm Instax 300 instant photo camera with film; and donations from local businesses.
Only seniors can register to win prizes. Winners will be announced at the event at 4:15 and must be present to accept their prizes. Seniors can register to win by joining the alumni community through this link. Registration will end May 12th, 2016.
The concert will run from approximately 4:30-7 p.m.
The rain location for Senior Fling is the Trabant University Center with the concert being held in the Multipurpose Room.

MisterWives is an indie pop band made up of Mandy Lee, Etienne Bowler, William Hehir, Marc Campbell, Jesse Blum, and Mike Murphy. They’ve toured with notable musical artists such as Twenty One Pilots, Bleachers, and American Authors. They released their incredibly popular debut album, “Our Own House,” in 2015.
Lauv, also known as Ari Leff, is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter/producer from New York City. His hit song, “The Other,” has over 3.5 million streams on Spotify.
