Employee Permit Information

All faculty and staff who wish to park on campus are required to have a valid parking permit at all times, unless using pay-to-park facilities.

Daily Permits

Faculty and staff who do not regularly drive to campus but occasionally need to bring a vehicle may purchase daily permits.

  • Valid in Red, Gray, Central, and Pearson lots

  • Available to all faculty and staff

  • Non-refundable

  • Purchase online via the Parking Portal

Annual Parking Permits

Faculty and staff based on the Newark Campus may register for annual permits in the following areas:

  • Red, Gray, Central, Pearson

  • Central Reserved (includes  Lots 20C, 21, 34C, 37C, and 53C)

  • Garage

  • Star Campus (e.g., Star Gray)

  • Carpool

  • Hybrid Permit

Payroll Deduction is available for benefit-eligible employees purchasing annual permits.

Responsibilities

Faculty and staff permit holders are required to:

  • Report any changes affecting parking eligibility to the Parking Office

  • Authorize the University to transfer unpaid fines or late fees (after 30 days from the appeal decision or violation date) to:

    • Payroll deduction via Human Resources, or

    • A collection agency, if applicable
