Canvas Mobile Apps
Did you know Canvas had a mobile app? Canvas Student and Canvas Teacher apps are available on both iOS and Android devices. Although these apps do not include all the features of the Canvas web option, they can be used to browse and update courses, to submit assignments, and to grade.

We will show you how to use the module builder and template creator to make an entire semester of modules in one click. Canvas Homepage 101
In this workshop, we will show you how to create or edit your Canvas home page using the Cidi Labs DesignPLUS tools. We will show you how to apply a page theme, add or edit a banner image, customize navigation links, and add/update your teacher/TA details to the page.
Accessibility Workshops
Accessible Course Design
Accessibility is often overlooked but is extremely important in your course design. This session will help you learn easy (and quick) skills to make your online course more accessible for all learners. Presentation will focus on why accessibility is important, and simple things that faculty can do in their Canvas site – headings, alt text, pdfs, etc. Participants attending this workshop in person are strongly encouraged to bring their laptop or device.
