1. Headers
Your content should be organized according to headings. Avoid using text styling alone to create a heading (i.e. bolding or increasing the font size manually).
Instead, use predefined headings in the Canvas text editor to ensure readers clearly understand the structure of your document or webpage. Do not jump from a heading 1 to a heading 3, make sure that your hierarchy is logically organized.
2. Color Contrast
Color contrast b/w text and background: Make sure that your foreground and background colors have enough contrast between them. You can use the WebAIM Contrast Checker to test your colors. You need to comply with the AA standards. You can select your colors in the Canvas text editor toolbar.
3. Links
Link text should be unique within a page, should be meaningful when read out of context, and should help users to know something about their destination if they click on it. Avoid using “click here” as link text. For example, use text like “June events” or “Register for the May 20th Roundtable.” Learn more: https://webaim.org/techniques/hypertext/link_text
