The University of Delaware will not be renewing its contract with FeedbackFruits after June 30, 2026. The tool will continue to be available through Spring 2026, but will no longer be accessible starting July 1, 2026.
FeedbackFruits has been part of our teaching technology toolkit since 2021 to support meaningful peer and group feedback in your courses. While instructors have demonstrated some great uses, overall adoption has been limited, which led to the decision to phase it out.
Losing a familiar tool can be disruptive. Our team is here to help make the transition as smooth as possible. There are several good alternatives already available in our UD toolset, such as Canvas Peer Review assignments and Perusall’s Peer Review that can support similar feedback activities.
Over the coming months, we will share reminders, support resources, and training opportunities to help users prepare for this change well before the sunset date.
