A Canvas production update will occur on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Check out the full release notes. Production updates occur on third Saturday of each month, and the next planned update is Saturday, January 18, 2025. The December 21, 2024, production release, and the January 1, 2025, deploy have been cancelled due to the celebration of various winter holidays and downtime between semesters.
Several of the updates scheduled for this production update were delayed, but there have been updates in deploys since October. The following updates are now available in the current production environment:
Announcements – Time Stamps (October 23 deploy)
Only a posted and a last edit date (if edited after publishing) will be displayed to students. This update helps prevent students from misunderstanding the posted and last edited date for announcements.
Instructors will see a created, posted, and edited date (if a delayed announcement is edited before posting or if an announcement was edited after publishing).
