A Canvas production update will occur on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Check out the full release notes. Production updates occur on third Saturday of each month, and the next planned update is Saturday, February 17, 2024. Updates in the current release include:
New Quizzes – Answer Frequency Summary for Additional Question Types
This update to the Item Analysis Report provides additional question types for instructors to evaluate student responses. The Answer Frequency Summary charts now display the total number of correct responses, incorrect responses, and no responses for the following question types:
- Categorization
- Matching
- Ordering
- Hot Spot
- Formula
For example, below is the summary of a categorization question:
Rich Content Editor – Course File Hover Displays Entire File Name (January 17 deploy)
When linking to course files using the rich content editors, use can now hover the file name to view the full name. This change can help users distinguish between files that have either with long or similar names.
