A Canvas production update will occur on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Check out the full release notes. Production updates occur on third Saturday of each month, and the next planned update is Saturday, May 15, 2021. Updates in the current release include:
New Quizzes – Multiple Attempts First Score Option
New Quizzes now has the multiple attempts scoring option that allows you to store the first attempt score as the final score, even if the quiz is retaken at a later time.
Quiz results displayed to students will indicate that the first score was kept for the quiz.
Submit Assignment Button Wording (March 31 Deploy)
For student assignments, the Submit button has been changed to a Start Assignment button to clarify the assignment workflow.
Once the student uploads or adds a submission according to the submission type, a Submit Assignment button will be displayed to submit the assignment.
If the student is allowed to resubmit the assignment, the Resubmit button has also been updated to a New Attempt button.
