We are aware that the current TA role in Canvas and the way it is structured does not currently meet the needs of many University courses that have a user in this capacity. We are looking to revise the existing TA permissions and add a new role (content assistant) in our Canvas environment to better facilitate the needs of faculty.
We are asking any faculty member who may have a TA in any course to complete this short form. Your feedback is appreciated to ensure that we set up the role of both a teaching assistant and content assistant to align with your expectations for the types of tasks someone in this capacity needs to be able to do.
