The 47th AG Day is Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. It is a community event hosted by the University of Delaware College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Cooperative Extension has a long-standing presence at Ag Day and we are planning to have a tent again this year. One of our goals is to help visitors better understand all the types of topics people can learn about by engaging with Extension. The theme for this year’s AG Day is “From the Ground Up”. We are asking that all exhibitors embrace this theme as they determine what they will be showcasing this year.
Plan of work areas (Agriculture, Horticulture, 4-H, and Health and Wellbeing) will be working together to determine the exhibits that will be showcased during Ag Day. This form will be used by Extension personnel and 4-H clubs who would like to exhibit within the Extension Tent.
1. Fill out the AG Day Registration form and return it to the NCC 4-H office by Friday, March 8, 2024. Do not fill out the online College of Agriculture, AG Day form! All Cooperative Extension registrations will be handled by the NCC 4-H office.
2. Please indicate and explain what your group is interested in doing at Ag Day. You may check off more than one area.
3. Please tell us your space needs for the day. Though we will have the entire tent, we would like to utilize the space well. A standard exhibit includes one table (8 ft.) and two chairs.
***NEW*** If you plan on using more than the 1 table and 2 chairs there will be an additional charge this year. If you plan on selling something as a 4-H club, there is an additional charge this year for doing so. It is $50 fee to sell something and have the standard 1 table and 2 chairs.
4. Set up is between 8 am – 9 am. All vehicles need to be removed from the tent area by 9 am. It is the expectation that all exhibits stay in place from 10:00am – 3:00pm. NO vehicles will be allowed back onsite until after 3:00 pm.
Remember registrations are due to the NCC 4-H office no later than March 8, 2024.
