Happy October!
Fall is here and we have a busy month ahead with lots to look forward too! We kick off this month with re-enrollment on our new system, 4-H Online 2.0. If you have any questions please reach out to Serena- serenac@udel.edu or me at kklair@udel.edu and we will do our best to answer them-we are learning with you!
Make sure to join us this Sunday at 2pm for our Achievement Event to see all the “Opportunities 4 All” with 4-H! If you have not signed up for the Achievement Event, there is still time!

We will be celebrating all the accomplishments YOU have done over the last year!
We would like to welcome Mrs. Jenny Trunfio to our New Castle County Team! She has accepted the New Castle 4-H Program Coordinator position and starts October 1st. She comes to us from Kent County 4-H with a wealth of knowledge and blood that runs green! Jenny grew up in Pennsylvania 4-H and her three boys have been involved on the County, State and National level. We are excited to add Jenny to our 4-H team and be on the look out for her to welcome her to New Castle County 4-H in her new role! If you need to reach out to her you can do so by email at jtrunfio@udel.edu
Some of the upcoming events in October that you get to look forward to are: Pumpkin Contest, World Food Day, National 4-H Week- (October 4-10), STEM events and more! Diamond Clover intent forms are due November 30th. Be sure to read through the whole newsletter and mark your calendars to make sure you did not miss a 4-H Event!
We love to hear all of the great things you are doing with your club members; club reporters don’t forget to submit your club news to Serena by the 25th of each month to be included in the newsletter. We miss hearing from you!
Be sure to look at our online newsletter, Friday emails and Delaware 4-H Facebook for updates, news and challenges. Leaders- with the new 4-H system and rollover of enrollment, it is always challenging to reach everyone via broadcast emails when members go inactive. We would appreciate it if you could forward emails and updates out to club members to be sure they are in the know.
If you need anything, please reach out, I cannot wait to see you at the next 4-H event!
Yours in 4-H,
Kaitlin Klair
