HolidaysDear 4-H Family:

I’m sure you’re still full from Thanksgiving- and with no time to skip a beat, the holidays will soon be upon us in full swing. As we cruise into December and finish up the year, 4-H has fun and exciting opportunities that you will not want to miss!

Be sure to check out our calendar pages for all of the exciting events coming over the next three months!

Remember, the 4-H office will be closed for the holiday from Thursday, December 24 through Friday, January 1. We will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2016.

Registration forms are now available for the Favorite Foods Contest and the Photography Contest, both taking place on Saturday, January 23 at Kirk Middle School. Details and registration will soon be available for State Teen Conference (January 30-31) and the Leader’s Forum (February 6).

As you know, 2015 seemed to be quite the year of transitions, and we will finish up the year with one more change. Our 4-H Administrative Assistant, Lisa Bishop, has accepted a full-time position in her previous UD department, and will be leaving the Cooperative Extension Office. Although we did not have much time to get acquainted with Lisa, her caring spirit will be missed. We wish Lisa the best as the Assistant Business Manager in the UD Athletics Department. Beginning immediately, please forward all 4-H related questions to Serena Conner.

Happy Holidays from the 4-H Office!
