Happy Turkey Month!
November means fall is in full swing and the colors outside are beautiful! It’s a great time to be with family and remember everything you are thankful for. This month brings Daylight Saving, Election Day, Veteran’s Day, Native American Heritage Day, and Thanksgiving!
The Achievement Celebration was held on Saturday, 5 October. We honored 4-H members and volunteers’ achievements for everything they accomplished over the last 4-H year. We want to say congratulations again to all 4-H members, volunteers, and parents on a great 2023-2024 year! We are looking forward to being able to expand your 4-H experience this 4-H year.
A couple of weeks ago, we held the Pumpkin contest at Kranz Farm right outside of Newark. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to the 4-H Link’s for supporting the event. See the post in this newsletter for results and pictures of the awesome pumpkins!
Be sure to read all the posts so you don’t miss anything! We have community service opportunities coming up, STEM night, Public Speaking registration, Hippology registration and Winter Fun Day coming up! Make sure you don’t miss our awesome window displays and banner that were presented during National 4-H Week! They turned out great!
We love to hear all the great things you are doing with your club members; club reporters or secretaries don’t forget to submit your club news to Serena by the 25th of each month to be included in the newsletter.
Be sure to look at our online newsletter, Friday emails and Delaware 4-H Facebook for updates, news and challenges. Leaders- please make sure to check your club enrollment in 4honline to make sure your club members are able to participate in all things 4-H!
