Hello 4-H Families!
Happy Spring! The pollen count is high, and the weather is fluctuating back and forth but that only means Spring has sprung and Summer is around the corner! This month is a busy one with scholarships due, demonstrations, judging contests, livestock weigh ins and tagging, meetings and more! Be sure, as always, to take the time to go through all the newsletter so you don’t miss any opportunities!
We would like to congratulate all our 2024 Senior 4-H members. We are so excited for you to explore the next chapter of life whether it be in college or joining the workforce. Be sure to check out our 4-H seniors in our Senior spotlight!
Thank you to everyone who helped with AG Day, it ended up being a great success as always and we hope that you got to come out and enjoy the day as well. Thank you to the Leaders Association for all of your hard work with the food booth.
Livestock families and members, please make sure to read all the newsletter as there is important information regarding livestock shows, state fair, YQCA, tagging dates and more. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Delaware State Fair registration is still open, enter through the Delaware State Fair exhibitor’s page. Please be make sure you are in the 4-H Section not the Children’s Department. Also, please do not wait until June 1st to enter your fair exhibits. Make sure to enter them sooner rather than later. The Fair will not allow you to enter anything after June 1st.
It’s never too early to start working on your record book. I know it seems far off but unfortunately the summer will fly by, and September will be here before we know it!
