Hello 4-Hers and families,
The 2023 year is sure moving quickly and the 4-H world is ramping up for spring! Please make sure to read through everything as many contests, overnighters and opportunities are coming up.
As February begins, we have several items coming up which include:
State and Day Camp Scholarships Due – February 3rd
State Teen Conference Registration Due – February 3rd
Junior Leader Hike – February 5th
Favorite Foods, Foods Judging and Photo Contest – February 11th
C-3 Meeting – February 13th
State Teen Conference – February 25-26th
Up and coming items to be aware of:
– Judging contests (March 27: Wildlife/ Horticulture and April 24: Photography/ Clothing/ Wood science)
– Spaghetti Dinner (March 10)
– Younger Member Overnighter (April 1-2)
Reminder all 4-H members must reenroll in 4-H Online by March 1 to be eligible to participate in any spring and summer county and/or statewide events and contests. You can register HERE.
Inclement Weather Policy – If the Christina School District closes for the day, has early dismissal, or cancels after-school activities, then New Castle County 4-H events are cancelled. Weekend 4-H events will be cancelled if the University of Delaware closes or cancels events.
