The flowers are in full bloom, the bees are buzzing, and the pollen is on everything. Sorry to all of you who have allergies. With the spring weather in full swing, we are gearing up for some exciting 4-H opportunities for you! Be sure to read through the whole newsletter to make sure you don’t miss a thing in the coming month.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to all of our 4-H seniors this year! We are excited to follow along and watch all the incredible things you will do in the next chapter of life!

4-H Paper Clover began last Wednesday at all Tractor Supply stores- be sure to stop into the Middletown Tractor Supply and support New Castle 4-H. Donations from the Paper Clover go back to the county 4-H program to benefit you!

Important activities and events coming up:

· Archery training May 22nd 2pm

· State Fair tagging dates May 7th, 15th, and 24th

· YQCA training, May 11th

· Demonstration contest May 12th starting at 6pm

· Final Judging contest May 17th

Delaware State Fair registration closes on June 1st at 11:59pm for all exhibitors, enter through the Delaware State Fair exhibitor’s page. Please be make sure you are in the 4-H Section- not the Children’s Department. The 4-H building set up is scheduled for Monday, July 11th. Please be sure to sign up if you are available to help!

It’s never too early to start working on your record book. I know it seems far off but unfortunately the summer will fly by and September will be here before we know it!
