All the Winter Fun Day participants had a fun and festive morning creating chalk couture ornaments and signs!
Thank You for Bringing Joy
A 4-H wagon was filled with 49 hats, 58 pairs of gloves, 13 scarves, and 4 pairs of socks from the 4-H Christmas tree. Additionally, a second wagon was loaded with 12 fleece blankets made and donated by 4-Hers from Kent County. This trip to New Castle County Adopt-a-Family was a little more special because I crossed paths with a few families and invited them to pick items from the wagons. I saw the joy on their faces as I watched them cuddle the blankets. They were very grateful and mentioned how much they appreciated the gifts. Thank you for ending 2019 by bringing joy to some members of our county.
